Online Fraud Examples

For.com.au is not responsible for any transection between buyer and seller. Do not deal with any one who ask you to send money via paypal or western union. Here is an example of fraud email that you may receive,,,

Hello Seller,

I am Nicolas from Australia, i saw the ad you placed on For.com in
which you stated that you have a Vehicle for sale,is it still unsold?i
will be paying you $6,470 please let me know if the price i offered is
ok or i should shoot it up a little bit.i wont be able to have a
proper look cos am presently off for work sailing, am a marine
engineer.my payment method is via paypal cos that is the only method
of payment i have access to here on ship perhaps paypal will protect
both parties from online fraud and i want a secure transaction cos its
my first time of buying item on the internet.i will handle the pickup
myself,my pickup company will come for the pickup after payment as
been confirmed by paypal.kindly get back to me with your paypal email
id or a payment request so that i would be able to transfer the funds
out-rightly.thanks and God bless...

P.s, you can easily setup a paypal account by visiting www.paypal.com
its faster easier and safer and they do guide and protect both the
seller and buyer from online scams/fraud

Thanks
